The ergoPouch Winter Harvest Pouch Tales Collection is here! Taking inspiration from the garden, the Autumn Winter range includes two new prints, featuring winter’s fruits and hearty vegetables. Kids are going to love discovering their favourites on the ‘Veggie Patch’ print, including pumpkins, carrots, pea pods. ‘Cute Fruit’ takes us to the orchard where we will find apples, pears, lemons, and oranges.
These adorable prints are available in the ergoPouch range, including the Swaddle Bag suitable for newborns, the award-winning Sleep Suit Bag which converts from a winter Sleeping Bag for infants and kids to a Sleep Suit with legs using the 4-way zipper. Not to mention the Long Sleeved Pyjamas that are perfect for the cooler months, now available up to a size 6.
Cocoon Swaddle Bag
Suitable from birth until baby is rolling, the Cocoon Swaddle Bags are easy and safe to use. The simple zip-up design will keep baby secure and snug without the need for complicated wrapping!
Sleeping Bags
Once the swaddling phase is over, baby is ready for an arms out sleeping bag. For the same comfort, warmth and safety in the cot during sleep. Select from the slim-fit, stretchy Jersey Bag or the wider-fit Sheeting Bag in silky-smooth organic cotton.
Sleep Suit Bag
Essential for toddlers that are on the move, the Sleep Suit Bag is the perfect way to keep them warm without the need for blankets. This clever design converts to a Sleep Suit with zippers down the legs to provide more freedom if your little one has transitioned from a cot.
Sleep Onesie
The Sleep Onesie is a perfect sleeping bag alternative for little ones who don’t like the restriction of a sleeping bag, or those transitioning to a big bed. Designed to be worn on its own for sleep, or with a layer underneath for warmth and comfort.
Long Sleeve Pyjamas
Mix and match the TOG-rated layers, designed to be worn as pyjamas underneath your child’s sleeping bag or sleep suit for extra warmth. The Long Sleeve Pyjamas are best for toddlers that are toilet training and preschoolers who can dress independently.
Nutrients for A Good Night’s Sleep
with Steph Geddes
As mamas and keen advocates for a full night’s sleep, we know how difficult it can be when sleep is disrupted or you’re not getting enough of it. Luckily for us, ergoPouch has partnered up with nutritionist Steph Geddes to share some nourishing recipes to support sleep (for grown ups and the kids!) and below she recommends the best nutrients for a good night’s sleep. For free recipes and helpful information, head to the ergoPouch blog.
Protein
Including a source of protein (meat, chicken, fish, eggs, legumes, soy, nuts, seeds, dairy etc.) at each of their meals will support growth and development but also keep them feeling full.
Healthy Fats
Good sources of omega-3 fatty acids include oily fish (salmon, sardines, anchovies), walnuts, chia seeds and flaxseeds.
Magnesium
Excellent food sources of magnesium to offer to children are green leafy vegetables, wholegrains, nuts, legumes, seeds, dates, bananas, figs.
Iron & Zinc
The best sources of these foods are red meat (particularly slow-cooked), liver, chicken, oysters, legumes, tofu, nuts, pumpkin seeds, dark leafy green vegetables, whole grains.
Melatonin
Involved in our sleep and wake cycle, we can support the natural production of this sleep hormone by including foods such as chicken, turkey, eggs, salmon, tofu, milk, nuts and seeds.
