Christmas at Petite Maison Play

Kate Robinson is a creative dreamer and the founder of Petite Maison Play. Since 2017, this Melbourne-based business has been providing families with their signature PlayTents and PopUp cubbies. Kate explains “We are championing imaginative and stimulating play. Something that is beautiful, will last well beyond childhood and is one toy for infinite play possibilities!” Petite Maison has just released a beautiful Christmas Collection, which we are delighted to share with you today, plus an exciting chance to win a Christmas Bundle for one of our readers!

Australian Bush Table Tent

Petite Maison Play came about when Kate became a Mum for the first time. Living in a small apartment, she knew first-hand how important it was to have fun and imaginative play ideas for her little one that would stand the test of time and could pack away easily. With a background in homewares and a passion for French provincial interiors, Kate was determined to combine her sophisticated aesthetic with all the new toys, books and baby gear filling her apartment.

“I identify with parents who want to provide imaginative and stimulating play for their children, with pieces that pack away easily and will become a treasured part of each child’ s toy collection for years to come.” And so the Petite Maison Play range was born, with their heirloom approach to toys and the signature table tent cubby houses.

The table tents are designed to fit over a dining table and instantly transform the kitchen into an imaginative play area within moments! With an invitation to play at the Petite ShopSpace StationAustralian Bush or Home Sweet Home – you can create the ultimate cubby for your little one. Petite Maison also support the Australian Literacy & Numeracy Foundation and make a donation from every sale.

Christmas Collection

Old Toys (and books) for Santa

‘The Old Toys For Santa Sack was born from our own experience living in an apartment and wanting to do better with our outgrown toys. Our hope is to inspire families to start a new tradition in their homes. De-clutter, make room for new additions and help children feel good about parting with toys for those less fortunate than we are.’

As part of Petite Maison Play‘s ongoing commitment to the Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation (ALNF), $2.00 from every cubby sale and $1.00 from every Christmas product go directly to the ALNF. Another way for families to give back this Christmas, Petite Maison Play has opened their Melbourne warehouse to accept donated books throughout November/December for their share-a-book programme and will happily ship any donated books up to their Sydney HQ. Kate adds “Despite being a small, family business we want to be better and do better within our community. We feel ALNF is the perfect alignment with our brand and hope to provide some much needed support throughout our business journey.” When you purchase the Old Toys for Santa sack, you receive all the details about how you can donate.

The Night Before Christmas Box

‘Hailing from my childhood traditions, this box is filled with pure Christmas Eve joy! Ready to tinkle and warn the house that Santa is on his way. A bedtime tool my Mum swore by and one I want to share with you. Spin a tale all day about the fairies or elves watching out for the sleigh and how they will ring the bell when they know Santa is coming. When you need your little ones tucked up into bed, covertly ring this bell and watch them fly under their blankets. You can thank me later!’

The Night Before Christmas Box contains a Vintage inspired ‘Bedtime bell’, a ‘Santa Key’ and tag and an heirloom quality matchbox to keep these treasures safe for years to come.

Santa’s coming, it’s time for bed, listen for the bell and Santa’s sled.

Competition Time

To celebrate Petite Maison’s 2021 Christmas collection launch, they are giving one lucky winner a joyus Christmas Bundle, including the Santa Sack and the Night Before Christmas Box plus a $100 voucher to use towards the Play Tent of your choice!
