Today we are sharing a vintage nursery from talented mother of two, Nicola Mcclintock from Moments with Us. Since becoming a Mum, Nicola has found her passion for photography and styling and says she is in her element designing the bedrooms for her children.
When hearing the news that she was pregnant with a little girl, Nicola soon started planning the look for her baby’s nursery. With vintage inspired furniture and delicate pink accents, this room is everything a little girl could ask for. Pretty in pink!
TELL US ABOUT THE OWNER OF THIS BEAUTIFUL ROOM?
“Blair is one, she is such a sweet little lady. She absolutely adores her nursery and I often find her in there nurturing her dollies or patting them to sleep! She particularly loves her carousel and sings to the music as it dances around.”
WHAT WAS THE BRIEF FOR THIS ROOM?
“Ever since I found out I was having a girl I envisioned a vintage nursery with rose pinks and rattan furniture. I was in my element creating her nursery.”
WHAT WAS YOUR INSPIRATION?
“Definitely a vintage feel with lots of rose pinks and rattan. Inspiration was collected from the Pinterest and Instagram accounts that I love. The artwork was a gift for Blair when she turned one, because the little girl on the print reminded me of her.”
HOW DID YOU SELECT YOUR COLOUR PALETTE?
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE FEATURE IN THE ROOM?
WHAT WAS THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE?
“It’s quite a small room so I kept the furniture and accessories minimal.”
