Oak and the Little Folk

Oak and the Little Folk design and make heirloom-quality children’s wear.  Owned and run by Lauren,  she started her business after having her daughter when she discovered how hard it was to find good quality – and good-looking – shoes.  When she couldn’t find exactly what she was after she decided to design some herself.  Specialising in high-quality waxed leathers, she has been able to design shoes that not only look amazing but are comfortable and ready for adventure.

Clothing was a natural progression for Lauren as she always had a passion for sewing.  After asking a friend to teach her how to read a pattern she started bringing her ideas to life.  Oak and the Little Folk create vintage-style clothing. Timeless styles that can be worn from a casual walk on the beach to a sunny afternoon picnic. All of the clothing is made by Lauren who puts her heart into each outfit. Oak and the Little Folk are huge believers in quality over quantity and making sure each piece is heirloom quality that will be worn again and again and then passed on to be worn and loved some more.
