The NooK story began in the Rudomino household in the early days of the March 2020 lockdown when cushions and blankets became forts and quiet retreats. Parents Olivia and Patrick were inspired by watching their children play… and exasperated at cleaning up the accompanying mess and missing sofa cushions!
The family decided to create their own solution – beautiful and functional furniture which is both fun and versatile for the needs of families today. They wanted something safe and cosy so their children could explore their creativity and play independently.
Not stopping with the Original Australian Play Sofa, the brand has developed a range of Extras including the Arch Roller, Wedge Tail, Blox and Lily Pad all available in 35+ different fabrics. NooK is also the home of the Nest, the world’s first Play Sofa Frame. From the very beginning, every NooK product has been made in Australia to ensure the highest standards of quality and durability.
