Increasingly popular for its open-ended play, the Pikler triangle is the triangular climbing frame with rungs that is perfect for babies as young as six months. Definitely the buzz toy of the moment. So, when director of Nimble Kids, Dinah Pherous, found herself without an indoor playframe that was well-made, assembled, sturdy, waxed or oiled and with the edges rounded, she decided to create one.
With her partner’s extensive knowledge of high-end timber furniture production, she set out to design a product that was beautiful, practical, easy to store, and easy to clean – but that also assisted children with self-guided learning and self-confidence.
