Owner, Danielle Sellman has always been surrounded by creativity and would often fall asleep to the hum of her mother’s sewing machine (her mother was a talented wedding dress designer). She attributes her passion for creating to her mother.
Whilst pregnant with her first baby, Danielle was busy designing the nursery when she fell in love with modern quilts. This inspired a search for a quilted baby activity mat for her impending arrival. After hours searching, she realised the baby activity mat she was looking for didn’t exist so she made her own. It wasn’t long before family and friends requested Danielle make an activity mat for their babies. She knew from her own research that baby mats on the market were thin, limited in design and only featured primary colours. She couldn’t deny the requests to replicate her modern and innovative activity mat. Clover and Lola was born.
Believing a mum should love the baby wares she brings into her home, Danielle introduced her beautiful baby activity mats to the world in 2014. Clover and Lola products are expertly handmade in Australia by a specialist team of mums.
