REAL ROOM TOUR: As a talented screen printer and owner of whimsical homewares brand Bird Meets Bliss, it’s hardly surprising that mother of two, Tracey was able to create a stylish nursery with a neutral palette for baby Emerson.
Using a white and natural timber palette, Tracey – who didn’t know the sex of the baby while designing the room – says a Rachel Castle tea towel artwork was her first décor purchase.
“I tried to tie everything back to the colours in that print to avoid over complicating the space,” she says.
“I tend to be a little terrified of colour but by adding wooden trinkets, books and an Ouch Flower hanging tassel I was able to create interest.”
The room also features a handmade Bird Meets Bliss hanging mobile, which Tracey lovingly created especially for Emerson.
