Nestled in the heart of her parents’ 70’s style home, Lexi takes shelter from the shenanigans of her three older brothers in her newly refurbished pink grey bedroom oasis.
Designer Nicole from Little Liberty says as the only daughter in a family of 6 it was important to create a sanctuary for Lexi.
“My clients wanted to create a soothing and sophisticated space which would grow with their daughter well into her teenage years.
“We started with a beautiful soft grey colour on the wall and brought in gold metallics and soft pinks to make the space feel really feminine,” she says.
With a conservative budget (due to the redesign of the entire home) Nicole partnered products from Ikea and Cotton On with investment pieces like the beautiful upholstered bed from West Elm.
“I love so many of the products in this space, but the art piece really anchors the room,” says Nicole of the large scale framed print from Sarah Winfield.
It’s a combination sure to capture the heart and imagination of its young owner both now and for many years to come.
