How to Bring the Fun Back to School with Kid Stock

It’s that time of year again! If you are preparing the kids for daycare, preschool or big school, Kid Stock has a range of backpacks that put the FUN into functional. 
 
Mother of two, Dawn Cook worked as an Accessories Designer in the fashion industry for over ten years. “Whilst packing my son’s backpacks, I became ever more frustrated at how unsuitable it was. I had the realisation – “I need to re-design this bag myself!”, she explains. The design for the Kid Stock backpack came about because of her desire to design and create something practical with personality. 
 
With a passion for colour, print and pattern she put her skills and knowledge to the task. “I was pretty sure I could design a better backpack because up until that point, I hadn’t found the perfect one. It was important that it functioned better than the other options on the market but also, that it was stylish, bold, timeless and practical.”

Being a Mum to two young children, there is oodles of inspiration so Dawn’s dream was to create products that others would love, too. As a result of working in the fashion industry, she knew how wonderful yet sometimes wasteful it can be. So by using recycled materials and fewer plastics, Kid Stock is future-friendly. “We have worked on reducing the use of plastics in all our products by removing the PVC coating to make the bags lighter, softer and comfier with all the same features” she explains.

Kid Stock Backpacks 

The product range includes the Kid Stock Backpack, the perfect choice for back to school. We love all the pockets and compartments inside and the adjustable carry straps (small enough for kids, and big enough for parents). But the back-wall slip pocket is perfect for iPads, colouring-in or notepads.
